ABOUT US Since 1957 Coolridge has provided a full range of veterinary services for small animals and exotic pets in southern Maryland.  As a charter animal hospital, we have a well-earned reputation for quality care and personalized, professional service. Coolridge provides a full range of the most modern in animal health care services including routine and preventative health concerns as well as critical and life threatening emergencies. ˛WE LOVE PETS AND IT SHOWS!˛ is more than just our motto.  It is what sets us apart.  In fact, we have the distinction of being chosen to provide veterinary care to the following groups: Prince George˛s Police Canines Smithsonian Guard Dogs Prince George˛s Corrections Dogs Amtrak Police Dogs. Since we always have a veterinarian on the premises during hospital hours, we can provide urgent care immediately. And, although we are not a 24 hour care facility, we do employ an experienced resident caretaker who can administer medications outside our normal business hours  Our on site laboratory and operating room allow us to treat even the most critical cases promptly and efficiently.  And since we are one of the few animal hospitals able to treat ˛walk in˛ patients, we frequently see pets that are unable to be examined by their regular veterinarian. Although Coolridge offers the latest in veterinary medicine, we are still old fashioned in our customer service philosophy, preferring an individual one-on-one approach.  We are proud to be ranked in the top 7 out of the 141 hospitals surveyed by WASHINGTON CHECKBOOK, given highest marks for both quality service and reasonable prices.  The WASHINGTONIAN  also identified Coolridge as one of the best animal hospitals in Maryland.
